EA Play: Grievous, Obi-Wan, and Two More Heroes Officially Coming to Star Wars Battlefront II

Ever since the release of Star Wars Battlefront II, a lot of fans have been asking for prequel-era heroes and more Clone Wars content. With EA Play, we get the announcement that not only two, but four new heroes are coming to the game, and we will also be getting a new map to celebrate the Clone WarsSeason.

According to EA, the developers have finally decided to give the gamers General Grievous and Obi-Wan Kenobi—two of the most asked-for heroes for the game. What's cool is, we also get a playable Anakin Skywalker and Count Dooku entering the fray.

The new map will be on the Attack of the Clones planet of Geonosis, and though we don't have a look at the playable map yet, we do have some cool planet art to give us an idea of what the loading screen will look like.

Besides that, we're also getting a Starfighter mode for Hero Showdown, and a roadmap is being promised for the end of June.

After a disastrous release last year, EA and DICE are trying their best to make it up to the fan community. Though some have insisted that they have been soured by the franchise, there's no doubt that the devs have been trying their best to get our faith back for the game.

Star Wars Battlefront II is now available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
