Dragon Ball Super: Savage Battle Between Hit and Jiren Teased By Director

Dragon Ball Super is still in the Universal Survival Saga and fans are really digging it. After some build up and filler, the stakes of the arc are currently at an all-time high, with Goku set to take on Jiren which will likely result in a new transformation. However, that isn't the only fight fans have to look forward to, as Goku's Universe 6 rival Hit will soon take on Jiren.

While the fight has yet to take place, one of the series' directors went to Twitter and answered a fan question about the episode. Without spoiling it, Toshio Yoshitaka said the episode will be a "violent battle," which is always good news for Dragon Ball fans. Hit was in arguably the best fight of the series with Goku during a two-part episode so having him take on Jiren should result in a savage fight.

Jiren is being built up as the biggest threat Goku has taken on thus far, with Whis even hinting that he could be stronger than Beerus. This isn't anything particularly new for Dragon Ball Super, but it's not like fans watch the series for complex stories. Still, the resulting battle and new transformation should result in some memorable moments.

Dragon Ball Super can be streamed on Crunchyroll. Hit and Jiren will fight on episode 111, which is set to air on October 15.
