Dragon Ball Super: Jiren Could Surprise Everybody in The Tournament of Power

With only four episodes of Dragon Ball Super to go, fans are expecting to see some major plot revelations unfold before the series ends this March. Based on last week's glimpse of Jiren's past, it's safe to assume that his story will make an impact by the end of the Tournament of Power.

Now, a Redditor shared an intriguing theory about Jiren's true goal in the Tournament of Power as well as his plans with the Super Dragon Balls. It looks like fans might see an insane twist soon. You can read the theory below:

[Spoiler / Hypothesis] Jirens true goal from the tournament.

This fan theory aligns well with the previous theory that claims that Jiren is interested in recruiting Goku and Vegeta to help him in a celestial battle against the Gods of Destruction. We still don't know who the evil entity who killed Jiren's family and comrades, and it's possible that they could be the next antagonist in future episodes but as of now, Belmod is in the list of fan speculation. How did he know Jiren's story in the first place, anyway? If Jiren knows that Belmod is indeed that evil being, then why did he participate the Tournament of Power by his side? Perhaps he couldn't take down Belmod at his current level.

Dragon Ball Super is set to air on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami still airs the English dub of Dragon Ball Super on Adult Swim Saturdays at 9:30 p.m. It's also available to stream on FunimationNOW and Amazon.
