Dragon Ball Super: Broly is still a few months away but fans have been salivating over each new piece of information released. The latest one is more interesting than most, as a recent ad has revealed that Broly has a regular Super Saiyan form. Most fans are aware of the character's bulky Legendary Super Saiyan form so seeing him use the first form is interesting.
The movie seems to be differentiating itself from the previous versions and having him go blonde might do that. Granted, he was technically blonde during Broly - Second Coming but nobody talks about Second Coming. Because it sucks. A lot.
While this form of Super Saiyan has been underpowered in recent years, the trailer did show Goku and Vegeta struggling to fight him in his base form so they might have to watch out for his "basic" Super Saiyan form. His green-haired Legendary form was already shown but it will be fun to see if he can reach Super Saiyan 2 or 3.
Either way, Broly looks like a good time for fans and we can only hope that it lives up to the hype. It might also start a new chapter in Dragon Ball Super but we will have to wait and see. Granted, I'd rather see a post-Z timeline so that GT won't be canon anymore but I can wait.
Dragon Ball Super: Broly comes out on December 14 for Japan. The Americas are going to get it sometime in January.
