Dragon Ball FighterZ: Ultimate Gohan, Gotenks, And Kid Buu Confirmed

Bandai Namco revealed that Ultimate Gohan, Gotenks, and Kid Buu would be joining the on-disc roster of Dragon Ball FighterZ. This is the second version of Gohan and Buu in the game, though they're both significantly different from the versions that were shown. While fans are still hoping that Android 21 will be playable, these characters are favorites in the series and should be fun to use.

According to Jump Magazine (via Ryokutya2089), Gotenks will have his Super Volley Ball attack as his ultimate move, while Gohan will have a Super Kamehameha that is dependent on his energy gauge. Kid Buu will have his Planet Burst attack, which literally destroyed Earth during the final arc of Dragon Ball Z. These finishing moves are accurate for the characters and should look spectacular in-game.

Fans were hoping the adult version of Gohan would be added to the game, especially since his younger version was confirmed from day one. Kid Buu is also a nice surprise because fans thought that they would only have the fat version of the character in the game. These versions of the characters should play differently from the ones revealed since Adult Gohan is taller and Kid Buu is smaller.

Dragon Ball FighterZ will come out on January 26, 2018. It's not clear how many more characters will be in the game. More characters will be added as DLC in the future.
