Don't Expect Batgirl To Be Introduced In Justice League

With Zack Snyder exiting Justice League and Joss Whedon stepping in, you'd think that Whewon would take the chance to introduce the hero of his next solo movie, Batgirl. That however, isn't the case, and we should still keep our eyes peeled for when Barbara Gordon shows up in the DCEU.

According to Heroic Insider, though the reshoots that Whedon are directing are expected to be extensive, Whedon will not be adding the introduction of Batgirl. That being said, no new characters will be added to the story—only the ones that were planned ahead.

Fans who saw the first image of Jason Momoa as Aquaman will remember that it came with a caption of "Unite the Seven." So far, we've only been introduced to six members of the Justice League—Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Cyborg, and Aquaman—so fans are still expecting the reveal of the seventh League member. Hopefully we'll also meet him/her this November.

The best guess for the seventh member is Hal Jordan a.k.a. Green Lantern. Rumors have popped up earlier that Abin Sur will be making an appearance in Justice League, and his inclusion could actually sow the seeds for Hal Jordan's origin. To those who don't know, Abin Sur was the owner of the Lantern ring before he died and it passed on to Hal.

Though she won't be in Justice League, fans are still looking forward to see the DCEU's Batgirl making her debut. Hopefully we don't have to wait too long for her.

Justice League comes out Nov. 17.
