Daisy Ridley Would Want To Play Kylo Ren If Given The Chance

Sure Rey might be a powerful Force-user sitting at the center of Lucasfilm's new Star Wars sequel trilogy, however, if given the chance, Daisy Ridley would love to play Adam Driver's Kylo Ren.

Lucasfilm's been more open about Star Wars: The Last Jedi now that The Force Awaken's sequel is more or less ten days away from its release date, and the studio has been letting the cast make the promotional rounds to help add excitement to the upcoming Star Wars installment.

Ridley appeared with The Last Jedi co-stars Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran and director Rian Johnson on question-and-answer session for a Facebook Live video, and during the interview, the British actress was asked about who she'd play if she was given the chance to take up another character in the Star Wars universe.

"I would play Kylo Ren. It seems like a swift answer. But I think also it's because Adam [Driver's] made it a really, really part. So it would be interesting to how one would feel if you just read it without seeing it."

Rey and Ren might seem like typical representations of the Dark and Light side of the Force, however, it seems like The Last Jedi plans to shake things up a bit and present the complexities of morality and its different shades of grey. There's also the fact that promotional material for the upcoming film hint at Rey joining Ren at some point in the film.

We can't wait for Star Wars: The Last Jedi to hit cinemas on December 15, 2017.
