There are only a few more weeks until we get to see Rey in action with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The film will be wrapping up the Skywalker Saga, so fans would expect a lot from the movie. Daisy Ridley also has the same sentiments and has shared her process of filming as playing the lead role.

In an interview with Marie Claire (via Daily Mail), Ridley revealed that filming for Episode IX was her first time to film much more confidently. She did this because she felt like there was nothing else she could've done.

Ridley claims that the third movie of the trilogy is the best. And since the film is considered something big for everyone, she admits that she "did all of the emotions." In an effort to do so, she did frowns and smiles to her extent. She thinks that doing that might have help with her having a good time filming because she got to do a lot of things, both physically and emotionally. And also because she got to work with so many people.

She admits that the most demanding week of filming was the six-day long shoot of her fight scene with Adam Driver's Kylo Ren. They were shooting on chilly weather whilst water cannons are being blasted at them. She claims that if the lightsabers were heavier, they wouldn't have been able to do the scene. But she points out that filming it was "really epic."

Of course, fans are looking forward to The Rise of Skywalker, so it's a really good thing that Ridley is giving and doing her best to make her character much more authentic on-screen.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premieres December 20.
