Dad Designs Star Wars Corrective Helmets For His Son After Surgery


Dads who love Star Wars are the coolest!

While recovering from cranial surgery, Young Jack had to wear corrective helmets to make sure the shape of his turned out fine The surgery was done to correct his congenital craniosynostosis (a premature fusing of the skull).

His dad designed some cool Star Wars helmets inspired by different characters of the film. The designs were inspired by R2-D2, Luke Skywalker, Biggs Darklighter, and Jek Tono Porkins.

My buddy's kid had craniosynostosis surgery. His dad designed helmets for a year. Today is the last day of helmets. Happy birthday, Jack!
