Cowboy Bebop Anime Iconic Location Will Be Visited in Netflix Series

We are all hyped up for Cowboy Bebop after the release of the live-action show's official trailer. But before the teaser was dropped, it looks like John Cho had already confirmed that the series will be heading for an iconic location from the anime.

Cho recently took part in the Cowboy Bebop Trailer Livestream event where he answered a few questions about his upcoming series. At one point, the Star Trek actor began showing off his Alba City mug then his T-shirt which says "Lose yourself in Alba City." Cho then revealed that he swiped the items from the props department. Check the video at the 17:27 mark below.

Fans of the anime are well aware of Alba City, which is the setting for Cowboy Bebop: The Movie. In the 2001 animated film, Spike Spiegel and the Bebop crew head for the Mars city to find a a mysterious terrorist who wants to destroy the human population on the planet.

The idea of Cowboy Bebop having an episode being set in Alba City is an exciting one since it could mean the arrival of the film's villain. In the movie (which is also titled Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' On Heaven's Door in Japan), Vincent Volaju decides to get rid of all humans on Mars by releasing a lethal pathogen created by the military. He is seen as Spike's greatest adversary and seeing him in the live-action series could mean an epic fight scene.
