Could the Sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming Take Place In Europe?

When audition tapes for European Gwen Stacy started leaking online, a lot of people were guessing that she was going to be an exchange student in the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel. New information has come out though, that suggests that it will be Peter Parker flying off to Europe to become an exchange student.

According to The Hashtag Show, the sequel to Homecoming is set to have their production take place in Germany or the UK. Granted that Peter is usually portrayed as a straight A student, I can imagine him being sent off overseas to study in some fancy school; that's where he'll meet the first love of his life, a certain Gwen Stacy.

The foreign setting could also introduce us to a foreign Spider-Man villain as well. This is just my guess, but I think the villain for the sequel could end up being Sergei Kravinoff a.k.a. Kraven the Hunter. He was initially set to come out in the Sinister Six movie that was cancelled, and Russia is a part of Europe too, right?

Production for the Homecoming sequel is set to start this May 28, and the film is set for a release on July 5, 2019.
