Could Avengers: Endgame’s New Merch Reveal The Purpose Of The Avengers’ New White Suits?

Marvel might be trying to keep a tight hold on Avengers: Endgame's secrets, but somehow the film's tie-in merchandise just keep giving away spoilers to the highly anticipated sequel to Avengers: Infinity War.

While fans were always kind of expecting Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and the rest of the Avengers to get new costumes in Endgame, fans weren't quite expecting uniform white suits for the team. Many had imagined upgrades to the individual outfits that the Avengers already had, not a set of white uniforms.

However, these functional suits might actually serve a greater purpose in the second installment in Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie. According to a new report by Screen Rant, these new suits revealed by Endgame's toy line actually reveal mysterious devices attached to the back of the wrist, something that the publication claims to be seen in the film's set photos. A number of images of key members of the Avengers show the Marvel heroes wearing a device on the back of their wrists along with a layer of green added in spots for incoming CGI.

Could these suits be used for the expected time-travel in the movie?

There's been a whole lot of speculation that the Avengers might travel through time to undo Thanos snappening in Endgame. However, the method of time travel is unclear. Some believe that the Avengers will be able to travel through time by using Ant-Man's (Paul Rudd) Quantum Realm. Others believe that it'll have something to do with Captain Marvel's (Brie Larson) cat, Goose.

Either way, we'll have to wait and see.

Avengers: Endgame premieres April 26, 2019.
