Chris Pratt Sings 'Everything is Awesome' as Parks and Rec’s Andy Dwyer

Before he was Star-Lord or Owen the Raptor wrangler, Chris Pratt was loveable idiot Andy Dwyer in Parks and Recreation. He's also Emmett in The LEGO Movie, and to promote the release of the sequel, Pratt goes on The Graham Norton Show to cover Everything is Awesome in the style of Mouse Rat.

Here's the original song:

It's funny how Pratt would describe Mouse Rat as a band that plays ‘really terrible frat boy music' as a lot of fans actually loved how some of the songs came out in the show. Sure there are some silly ones like The Pit and Sex Hair, but fans can't get over 5000 Candles in the Wind or the jingle Catch Your Dream.

For now, Pratt is a far cry from his Andy Dwyer days, being boosted to A-list status in 2014 since the release of Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World. I just kind of hope that they bank on him being funny as compared to being a serious action man—just like what happened with Chris Evans. Before Evans was Captain America, he was actually in some sillier roles in movies like The Losers and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World; let's also not forget he was the first Human Torch.

For now, Pratt is set to return for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but that movie's been put on hold since they fired director James Gunn last year. Hopefully, Marvel Studios finds someone to helm before 2019 ends.

Catch Pratt as Emmett in The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part in theaters Feb. 8.
