Star Wars Rebels season 3 is returning to Disney XD this Saturday, and it looks like the series is focused on one thing: the appearance of Rogue One‘s metal-legged extremist played by Forest Whitaker, Saw Gerrera. A gruff and gnarly rebel in the Star Wars spinoff movie, everyone’s interested in seeing the steps Saw will make in the new Star Wars animated series.
Preparing fans for the Saw’s backstory in Star Wars Rebels, Disney XD has issued a new promo trailer for the episode in which the character would appear in, Ghost of Geonosis.
Adding a few shots from Rogue One, the promo is intense and explosive as the Ghost crew saves Saw from a group of Separatist droids. The atmosphere gets even heavier in the later portion of the clip as Hera warns the rest of the crew about Saw’s reputation “for being a little extreme.”
