Charlie Cox Comments on Rumors About Daredevil Appearing in Spider-Man 3

Spider-Man: Far From Home gave us one of the best post-credit sequences in MCU history, with Mysterio somehow framing Spidey for the movie's events and revealing to everyone that Peter Parker is under the mask. That's one hell of a cliffhanger and fans desperately want to see what happens next, with a lot of us hoping that Charlie Cox's Daredevil returns and acts as Peter's lawyer in the unnamed Spider-Man 3.

Well, Cox recently spoke with ComicBook.com and unfortunately told us that he would not be playing Daredevil in Spider-Man 3. If Daredevil ends up appearing in the movie, Cox says it won't be played by him, which is a real disappointment. He could just be playing with the fans and is secretly going to reprise his role but we'll have to wait and see.

"I hadn't heard those rumors, but it's certainly not with my Daredevil. I'm not involved in it. If that's true, it's not with me. It's with another actor."

Though he won't be appearing (for now), Cox did mention that he loves the Marvel movies and would be down for a team-up with Tom Holland's Spider-Man. Fans always love it when these two characters pair up in the comics so we're sure a live-action version of that would be really enjoyable.

"As a fan of the Marvel movies, I've loved the little stuff where they pop up here and there but because we were on Netflix, we weren't able to do as much for legal reasons, I don't know why. But I love the idea of Jessica and Matt showing up in the background or Matt as a lawyer advising Peter Parker. That'd be really, really cool."

Is Cox just playing with us? We'll have to wait till next year when Spider-Man 3 comes to theaters, assuming that everything is fine by then. Spider-Man: Far From Home is now available on digital services and Blu-Ray.
