Carrie Fisher’s Dog Loved Watching His Mom In Star Wars: The Last Jedi’s New Trailer

It looks like humans weren't the only ones who got to enjoy Star Wars: The Last Jedi's new trailer. Even Carrie Fisher's dog, Gary, had fun watching The Last Jedi's first full preview when it rolled out last night.

A new photo of Fisher's sweet French Bulldog was posted on his official Instagram account, and in it, fans get to see Gary watching The Last Jedi trailer on television. In the photo, Gary puts all his focus on his mom acting as the Star Wars sequel trilogy's Resistance General, Leia Organa. Accompanying the post is a pretty sweet message littered with hashtags about Gary missing his hoomen mother.

So many hearts broke when Fisher passed away in December last year and the Star Wars legend was forced to leave her precious doggo Gary in the hands of her assistant, Corby McCoin. The dog was first adopted by Fisher from her daughter Billie Lourd who had given the canine as a service pet to assist the Star Wars legend with her bipolar disorder.

It's great to see how Gary's doing so well with McCoin, though it is kind of heartbreaking to see the dog missing his mother.

We wonder how Gary's going to react when he sees Fisher on the big screen later this year.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres December 15, 2017.
