Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi had just won an Oscar for his work on Jojo Rabbit, and a lot of people online are celebrating his win. Just in, Captain Marvel star Brie Larson has shared this video of Waititi during the Oscars where he attempts to hide his Oscar under someone else's seat.

This isn't the first time that Waititi has fooled around during the Oscars. During the 2005 Academy Awards, Waititi had pulled a prank, pretending to be asleep when he was announced as a nominee for Best Short Film. It was even said that he asked all the other nominees to pretend to be asleep as well, but only Waititi managed to pull through.
Waititi's career has certainly taken off since Thor: Ragnarok. From being an indie darling director, Waititi has now been nominated for several Academy Awards and is also set to direct another big-budget Hollywood film.
Personally, I wasn't that big a fan of Ragnarok, but Waititi comes back to form when it comes to Jojo Rabbit. Let's just hope he manages to capture that same kind of humor and sincerity when it comes to Love and Thunder. I mean, it's a Marvel film, but there's a lot more room for heart if you ask me.
For now, Waititi is working on this football biopic called Next Goal Wins, and after that, he's off to come back to the MCU with Thor: Love and Thunder which hits theaters Nov 5, 2021.
