Captain Marvel’s Brie Larson Reminds Fans To Get Their Black Panther Tickets

Black Panther is making its way to cinemas today, and Captain Marvel actress Brie Larson is busy telling fans to get their tickets to T'Challa's (Chadwick Boseman) standalone movie. There's been a lot of excitement building up over Ryan Coogler's comic book movie, and Larson's one of the Marvel stars to air out support for the film.

"One of the best things you can do for yourself and/or the ones you love is purchase some #BlackPanther tix," reads Larson's post on Twitter. "I know it's expensive to go to the theater, but its worth it for this one. You will exit forever impacted."

Aside from Larson, Tess Thompson, Donald Glover, Clark Gregg, Lauria Harrier and Chloe Bennett have also expressed support for Black Panther, praising the film and calling it a "cultural phenomenon" and a movie that everyone needs.

Not only is Black Panther the first standalone Marvel movie for the King of Wakanda, but it's also the very first all-black, or at least predominantly black comic book movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Representation matters, and for people of color Black Panther is a sign of progress in both Marvel and in Hollywood.

Black Panther premieres today, February 16, 2018.
