Brick by Brick: The Largest LEGO Millennium Falcon

How many LEGOs does it take to create a 5-meter wide Millennium Falcon? Roughly around 250,000. Father and son Dan and Chris Steninger are certified Lego master builders who set about building this massive work of art in the Westfield Southland mall in Melborne, Australia. Even aided by a team of fans, it took two days to finish the Millennium Falcon in time for May 4, Star Wars day.  Along with the Millenium Falcon, the builders also set up two 2-meter high LEGO TIE fighters made of 80,000 lego bricks.  If you're in Australia, you can catch the display until May 10.   Check out the time lapse of the entire process in this video.
