The first episode of Star Wars: The Mandalorian was recently released along with the launch of Disney+. And prior to its debut, fans have always been curious about whether or not Boba Fett would actually appear in the series. The show's premiere episode might have provided us an answer.

This article contains potential spoilers for Star Wars: The Mandalorian.

Boba Fett is a fan-favorite character despite its short screentime in the original trilogy. The popular bounty hunter was presumed dead when he was knocked into the Sarlacc Pit, but the old Expanded Universe later revealed that he actually survived. That being said, Fett's whereabouts or condition is yet to be known.

Although, some fans noticed that halfway through the first episode of the show, Boba Fett was allegedly seen in the background in a scene where Pedro Pascal's character walks into some sort of a hangout place. The figure seems to look awfully similar to Boba Fett, including the teal and red color scheme of the armor and what seems to be a dent on his helmet. The yellow parts of his shoulders aren't apparent though, but it could be possible that the armor has it as well since the figure is only seen in the shadows. Of course, it isn't definite to rule out that this figure is actually Boba Fett. It could just be someone who purchased or stolen the armor. However, there is still a chance that this is the said bounty hunter who survived from the fall.

It is worth noting that creator Jon Favreau mentioned that Easter eggs will be included in the show. And since The Mandalorian will be referencing parts of the Star Wars universe, it wouldn't be impossible to see Fett in the series.
