Birds of Prey's Margot Robbie Wants To Be In A Disney Project

Margot Robbie has quite a lot of projects in the works this year and a handful of movies in the succeeding years; from Peter Rabbit 2, Bombshell, and DC movies such as Birds of Prey and The Suicide Squad. However, it looks like the actress is ready to tackle other roles, and this time, it's for the House of Mouse.

The Hollywood Reporter recently released its list of 100 Most Powerful People in Entertainment, in which it features Robbie. There's a portion in the list that asks the same set of questions to the people included in the list. One query from that list asks who they would call if they ever find Disney CEO Bob Iger's phone.

Most of the people on the list named a specific person, but Robbie's was quite different from the rest. "I'd probably just return it to him and see what Disney IP I could get my hands on," Robbie said.

This suggests that Robbie might want to be included or star in a Disney project. Although she never really specified what her intentions are, her answer was just short and simple. Personally, I think Robbie could be a good choice if Disney plans to make a project that involves an edgy and cool character.

Considering that Robbie was chosen to play Barbie, she could go with roles for Disney similar to that as well. Regardless, Robbie is likely to land a role in whatever she puts her mind to, since she's been getting booked left to right; so it won't be a surprise if she gets a project with the company.

For now, Robbie is still filming for The Suicide Squad, directed by James Gunn, which is scheduled for a release on August 6, 2021. Meanwhile, Cathy Yan's Birds of Prey is now in its post-production phase and will premiere on February 7, 2020.
