Birds of Prey Will Come to Digital Services Next Week to Keep You Quarantined

It looks like entertainment companies are here to rescue us from our COVID-19 boredom as a number of movies have suddenly become available in various digital and streaming services. Disney did all of us a favor by releasing Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker early and unexpectedly adding Frozen 2 to Disney Plus and it looks like it's Warner Bros' turn to give us some fun stuff early. DC's delightful Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) will be coming to digital services next week.

Fandango confirmed that the movie would be available for VOD (video on demand) next week, on March 24, alongside The Gentleman. This should be great news for those that haven't seen the movie since they can now check it out from the comfort of their houses. It also helps that the comic book movie has a great "girls night out" vibe so grab some wine and invite your nearby neighbors (make sure they wash their hands though).

Birds of Prey is a solid little DC movie that manages to be self-contained enough for newer viewers, while also acting as a pseudo-sequel to 2016's Suicide Squad. While they never show Joker's face in this movie, references to the DCEU flick are constantly made, including a fun little wanted poster for Captain Boomerang.

What I'm trying to get at is, ignore the neckbeards and check out Birds of Prey when it becomes available next week for various digital services. Expect a Blu-Ray release once the Coronavirus has subsided.
