Star Wars: The Last Jedi will introduce BB-9E, the First Order's counterpart to BB-8, and now, the official Star Wars Youtube channel has released a new animated video featuring the evil droid meeting the adorable BB-8.
This is the latest episode of Star Wars Blips, a series of humorous animated videos featuring BB-8. It shows us what happens when Poe's droid meets its evil counterpart. Just like the rest of the First Order, it looks like BB-9E will be a jerk, and it's likely that there will be an amusing face-off scene between the two droids. We'd love to see them duel with plasma torches or race to prove which droid is the fastest.
