Batman: The Killing Joke is Now on Top of The Graphic Novel Sales Chart For Bookstores

Alan Moore and Brian Bolland's Batman: The Killing Joke soared to the top of Nielsen BookScan's (via ICv2) Top 20 Adult Fiction Graphic Novel chart, surpassing One Punch Man, Civil War, The Walking Dead, Tokyo Ghoul, and other popular graphic novels.

The controversial graphic novel has been among the Top 20 since August 2014, and has continued to go up the charts thanks to the R-rated animated adaptation of Batman: The Killing Joke coming next month and David Ayer's Suicide Squad film, featuring The Joker (Jared Leto), coming in August. .

I've been hearing a lot about Tokyo Ghoul, and was even fascinated by some Tokyo Ghoul cosplay at Animazement, and seeing it in the charts makes me wonder what makes that series so good, so I'll probably check out the anime soon.
