Avengers Infinity War: Thor Ragnarok’s Valkyrie Spotted In Edinburgh

Avengers: Infinity War is currently undergoing production, and it looks like the ensemble will be including a lot of characters — including the lesser-known heroes. Tessa Thompson, who debuts as Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnarok, has been spotted in Edinburgh, the set location for Infinity War.

I already thought just the Avengers meeting with the Guardians of the Galaxy was already tricky enough to pull off, but there will also be characters like Doctor Strange and Spider-Man joining the ensemble. Hopefully the movie works like a comic and doesn't complicate things too much with the presence of several characters. Did you see how many heroes were in the comic Civil War? They pulled that one off splendidly (the comic, not the movie).

Thompson has actually hinted on appearing in other movies as her character back in March. In an interview with EW, she says:

"You never know where people will pop up. In the next phase, the hope is to find ways to interweave all these characters, and certainly with Infinity War, those are the culmination of a lot of work since Iron Man. She's part of the tapestry now. For me, it's exciting to join at a time with young actors like Brie Larson and Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan. We're all hopefully going to meet in one of these movies."

I'm actually excited to see how the Russo Brothers plan to pull off this one huge ensemble movie. I'm guessing some characters will be more fleshed out than others, but that's already expected. If you want everyone to have a deep and interesting arc, you're looking at a four-hour movie (probably).

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters May 4, 2018.
