Avengers: Infinity War And Avengers: Infinity War Has About 900 Hours Of Footage

It looks like Marvel fans are going to have a whole lot of extra footage to go through when Marvel decides to release the DVD and Blu-Ray versions of Avengers: Endgame.

Directors Joe and Anthony Russo, along with the films' cast and crew, worked on a daunting back-to-back production of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. While the thought of working on the massive productions of both films back-to-back might seem overwhelming enough, fans don't know that the Russos and their team actually managed to shoot 900 hours worth of footage during the principal photography of both Infinity War and Endgame.

Speaking with Cinema Blend, Jeffrey Ford, the co-editor of the Russo Brother's two-part Avengers movie, revealed the number of hours of footage the filmmakers and their team managed to accumulate while working on both films.

"We were cutting every day, we were refining, we were figuring out what we were going to reshoot, figuring out what we had to finish. It was a constant state of pre-production, production and postproduction all at the same time for almost a year straight," Ford revealed.

900 hours is a massive number. Think of all the fun footage the Russos can make out of the deleted scenes. Think of all the deleted scenes. How long exactly would Endgame and Infinity War's blooper reel be?

While we're quite certain that the Russos won't add in all 900 hours of footage in Endgame's home release, we hope that they add enough deleted scenes to keep everyone happy.

Avengers: Endgame is currently screening in cinemas.
