Avengers: Endgame's Robert Downey Jr Presented Chris Evans With Customized Captain America-Themed Car

Sometimes it's good to be friends with Tony Stark. Chris Evans has just revealed that his Avengers: Endgame co-star Robert Downey Jr. gave him a truly impressive present: a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro that was designed by Downey himself and given an awesome Captain America theme.

Evans previously appeared on an episode of Jay Leno's Garage where he revealed that the Camaro was a gift from Downey (via CNBC). Amazingly, the customized car's estimated cost is $275,000. A pricey present indeed from the man who portrays Iron Man. Scroll through the post below to see all the images of the vehicle.

The vehicle was built by SpeedKore based on Downey's designs. Interestingly, the Iron Man 2 star actually tried to get Evans' opinion about cars before coming up with the expensive gift.

According to Evans, Downey kept asking him which cars he liked. "In my head, I'm like, ‘Is this guy going to give me a car? There's no way he's going to do this.' And, then, sure enough, I showed up on set one day and it was there," he confessed.

It's certainly great to learn that Evans and Downey continue to be good friends behind the scenes. The idea makes us want to see the reunion between Tony and Steve Rogers sooner.

The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:

"The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame."

Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26.
