Avengers: Endgame Star Don Cheadle Reacts To Fan Comment About Canceled War Machine Film

In case you missed it, Avengers: Endgame star Don Cheadle had somehow confirmed that there was going to be a War Machine standalone film that got scrapped by Marvel Studios. However, some people are not exactly keen on James Rhodes getting his own movie and Cheadle has the perfect response to that as well.

A Twitter user recently commented on a tweet about the War Machine film claiming that they don't really care about it. Amazingly, Cheadle himself had an awesome response to the fan's comment.

The fan was somehow humbled by Cheadle's carefree reaction and immediately tweeted back at the Avengers: Endgame star.

Cheadle had previously shared some details on what the War Machine movie would have been about.

"There was definitely going to be a lot of tension between his job as a military man and his allegiances to the code that he swore an oath to uphold, versus the changing world. I think they probably would have run afoul of each other a little bit, but I don't know if he would have been a straight fugitive, or if he would have become decommissioned. But there was definitely going to be some tension between those two worlds," he said.

Although he isn't getting his own film, War Machine is set to return and continue fighting in Endgame.

The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:

"The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame."

Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26.
