Avengers: Endgame Soundtrack Gets a Grammy Nomination

While Marvel movies have often been criticized for their generic soundtracks, newer films like Black Panther and Thor: Ragnarok have tried stepping things up a bit, culminating in the super good OST that Avengers: Endgame has. Granted, most of us only really listen to Portals from that OST but that's just such a good song and you can mouth the exact moment when Cap says "Avengers Assemble" to rile everyone up.

It seems like the higher-ups for the Grammys have noticed how good the soundtrack is since it was announced that the Avengers: Endgame OST would be getting a Grammy nomination. This is a pretty big deal since the Grammys are often considered to be the Oscars of the music industry, even if both award shows could use some retooling when it comes to choosing better films.

For the finer details of the nomination, composer Alan Silvestri and Endgame have been nominated for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media, if you wanted the specifics. Silvestri has been responsible for some of the finer Avengers tunes so we're happy to see the guy get some love for his work.

Obviously, we aren't sure if this is going to be a surefire win for Silvestri and Marvel Studios but there is a solid enough chance for this to happen. After all, the music has left a lasting impact on fans everywhere so let's wait and see.

Avengers: Endgame is now available on Blu-ray and the Disney+ streaming service.
