Avengers Endgame: Extra Footage of the Hulk Looks Kind of Terrible

Avengers: Endgame re-released last weekend with extra footage, and one of the scenes is said to be an unfinished deleted scene with the Hulk. Well, ‘unfinished' really is the right word, because the shots so far look like something out of an early PS2 game.

This was supposed to be the scene that would introduce us to Smart Hulk, and you can see he also wears the purple jumper that we see him wearing when he does the snap.

Personally, I think it's great that they decided to introduce him in the diner scene instead, because the Hulk's main role is to be a brain for the most part of Endgame, and having him be an "action hero" kind of doesn't introduce the character right. Plus, I think it's fun to have the audience in Ant-Man's seat when he's amazed and confused at the walking, talking, "Smart" Hulk.

For now, the Hulk is said to have been irreparably damaged by the snap, but we have no qualms about there being some kind of retcon in the future. I mean, they have Rhodey robot legs, so what are the odds Hulk can get himself fixed?

We don't know when we'll see Hulk again, but I'm hoping they have him sendoff a new team of Avengers in the next team-up. Besides, I'm kind of just happy to see Bruce Banner just be a scientist moving forward, now that he doesn't have to watch over his shoulder for any Hulk incidents.
