Avengers: Endgame Car Partnership Confirms Iron Man’s Survival

The first teaser for Avengers: Endgame might have left fans worrying the fate of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) after seeing Iron Man left floating in space with a fatally diminishing supply of food and oxygen, but everyone also expected the Avenger to survive the ordeal and make his way back Earth.

Now, thanks to Audi's partnership with Marvel, it looks like fans have some sort of confirmation that Tony is going to make it out alive. German car manufacturer Audi posted a new video featuring Downey Jr. discussing the company's e-Tron GT car concept.

In the video fans get to see the Marvel star reminiscing about the Audi R8 drive in the very first Iron Man movie and at the 3:40 mark Downey reveals that he drives the new concept car in Endgame. That might not seem much to fans right now, but the confirmation that Downey Jr. gets to drive Audi's new car in Endgame can only mean one thing – Tony Stark makes it back to Earth alive. After all, how does Iron Man get to drive his new Audi if he dies out in space?

The only question now is how Iron Man comes back home. The most popular theory is that Rocket Racoon (Bradley Cooper) rescues the Avenger from space. Tony and Nebula (Karen Gillan) are clearly in the Benetar, the Guardians of the Galaxy's ship. It would only make sense for Rocket to come find the two and bring them back home.

Avengers: Endgame is set to premiere April 26, 2019.
