Avengers 4 Was Easier to Shoot Than Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War comes out next week and fans are already curious about the nature of Avengers 4, which currently has no title. Things started heating up when an older Cassie Lang was cast for the film and fans are now more curious about the MCU's future, especially if there is time travel involved.

Interestingly enough, even with possible time travel shenanigans, the Russo Brothers have stated that Avengers 4 was much easier to shoot than Infinity War.

During an interview with GamesRadar, the Russos were asked which of the two films were harder to shoot, especially since they had to be filmed back-to-back. Both Joe and Anthony seemed to agree on Infinity War since post-production on that film had to be done while they were filming Avengers 4.

"I think [Infinity War] only because it was a compressed time frame and we were posting it while we were shooting Avengers 4."

Anyone who has worked on film knows how difficult both processes are, so having to work on the post-production of Infinity War while filming Avengers 4 is just crazy to imagine. Considering how much editing and CGI will be needed for both films, it's easy to see why shooting the fourth film was an easier process.

With no immediate plans to shoot another film after Avengers 4, the Russos should have a much easier time for the post-production of that movie. There will probably be reshoots but it won't be too taxing since these are usually shorter than the main filming.

Avengers: Infinity War comes out on April 27. Avengers 4 hits theaters on May 3, 2019.
