Annie is finally awake after four years, and she's been aware of what's been going on this whole time. Armin plans to chase after Connie to help Gabi reunite with Falco. In the middle of all the chaos in the latest Attack on Titan episode, at least we know that Hange and Levi are alive!

Trost District is a mess following the start of the Rumbling, leaving numerous residents injured or killed. Hitch is working hard rescuing and treating the wounded. In the building where Annie's located, Hitch notices a trail of puddles coming from the basement, leading to a room.
After Hitch enters the room, Annie sneaks up behind and points her ring at her. Hitch easily flips her and calls for help, but Annie threatens to transform. When a soldier begins knocking at the door, Hitch changes her mind and helps Annie out.
While Hitch and Annie travel by horse, Annie tells Hitch about her life and background. She reveals that she has an adoptive father who harshly trained her to become a Warrior so that he can live a better life. With that, Annie didn't see any value in life, including hers.
However, on the day they set out for Paradis, Annie's father apologized for treating her and pleaded for her to come back alive. Now, Annie is determined to keep that promise.
Meanwhile, in Marley, Mr. Leonhart and the other Eldians warn the Marleyan soldiers about their dream concerning Eren. They tell the soldiers that Eren is coming to kill them all, but the Marleyan soldiers refuse to believe them and think it's a ruse to get to escape.
Elsewhere, Armin tells Mikasa that he has to do everything he can regarding Connie and Falco. He knows that Gabi is necessary concerning Reiner and Pieck, so they need to gain her trust. When Mikasa asks what they should do about Eren, Armin momentarily snaps.
He tells her that there are too many other things to consider or think about. As such, there's not enough space for them to think about Eren right now. He immediately apologizes to Mikasa for snapping and tells her that Erwin should have been the one who was revived.
Gabi says her goodbyes to the Blaus family. Meanwhile, Floch tells Jean, Onyankopon, and the others about how Eren told him about his plan months ago. Jean is at a loss after Floch kills one of Onyankopon's colleagues simply because he wouldn't submit to Floch.
Somewhere in a forest, Pieck and Commander Magath watch the numerous Colossal Titans walk out of the island. Suddenly, Hange shows up along with Levi.
