Asgardians of the Galaxy Roster Includes Frog Thor, Angela, and More

Marvel has revealed who will be making up the Asgardians of the Galaxy and it's quite a lively bunch. While the God of Thunder won't be a part of the group, fans will be happy to see who is on the roster. From a former Guardians of the Galaxy member to a frog with Thor's powers, it is a wacky bunch and should make for a fun comic book.

Thor's sister Angela looks to be the face of the series and will be joined by Throg aka Frog Thor, Thunderstrike, Skurge the Executioner, Valkyrie (not the one from Exiles), and an Asgardian Destroyer who has a mysterious host.

X-Men Blue writer Cullen Bunn will be handling writing duties, while Deadpool artist Matteo Lolli will be illustrating the comic. Bunn has had experience writing Valkyrie in the acclaimed Fearless Defenders series, with Marvel confirming that Annabelle Riggs is still in the goddess' body from that run.

With no Guardians book coming out anytime soon, this might be enough to give fans their fix of cosmic adventures. Characters like Star-Lord and Gamora are busy with Infinity Wars, hence the absence of their group. Asgardians of the Galaxy is slated to hit comic book stores this September.
