Arrow Reveals Season 5 Premiere Title As Production Begins

Marc Guggenheim, Arrow's executive producer, confirmed the series started production on Season 5 today through Twitter. He also revealed the title of the season premiere, which you can see below:

A lot has been teased about Arrow Season 5, thanks to the show's star Stephen Amell answering questions on his Facebook page. He said his character Oliver Queen would be getting a new costume for the season and said the premiere would contain ""the most vicious, violent one-er shot in the history of network television." He also said that he insisted on performing this one-shot sequence himself, instead of leaving it to a stuntman. The director of the premiere, James Banford, was also the stunt coordinator and he told Amell that he could do the stunt, but he had to do it shirtless. That caused Amell to go into intense workout mode so he could look appropriately buff.

Amell also claimed that season 5 of Arrow would be "mean" and teased the return of a familiar face. There are certainly a lot of returning characters, including Madison McLaughlin as the the new Artemis and reportedly Colton Haynes returning as Roy Harper. There's also going to be additions like Wild Dog (played by Rick Gonzalez) and Vigilante (played by John Segarra).

Concept art for the season also revealed that Laurel Lance, who died last season, will be memorialized with a Black Canary statue. Arrow Season 5 is set to premiere on October 5 at 8:00 PM.

What do you think the Arrow premiere will be about? Who will be returning, what will the big stunt be about and why will it be called Legacy? I think judging from the concept art, the premiere title might have to do with the deceased Laurel. Are you excited for the Arrow premiere?
