Ant-Man and The Wasp Trailer Officially Released

Marvel has released the first trailer for Ant-Man and The Wasp and it is quite the spectacle. Even though it's only a minute and 44 seconds, the video is packed with a lot of visual flair and details for this summer's Marvel sequel. From a number of cool size-changing moments to our first look at Ghost, it's clear that this will be another entertaining superhero film from the folks at Marvel.

At the start of the trailer, it shows that Scott Lang (played by Paul Rudd) didn't ask Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) if she and her father Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) would have joined Cap with him. While she points out that we'll never know, Hope does say he wouldn't have been arrested if they had joined them.

From there we get footage showing that Lang is under house arrest and the police are constantly searching for Pym and Van Dyne, who make due with a base they shrink. From there it's a montage of cool action, with plenty of shrinking and our first look at Ghost, who looks inspired by Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

The final bits in the trailer are the best, showing Wasp in action. Dodging kitchen knives while wasp-sized and using her comic accurate blasters, it's easy to see why Scott would be jealous of her gadgets.

Ant-Man and The Wasp will hit theaters on July 6.
