Andy Muschietti Celebrates The Flash Production Wrap With New BTS Photo

It has been a long wait for The Flash but the film is finally done. Director Andy Muschietti has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated DC Extended Universe flick has wrapped production. To celebrate, the filmmaker shared some behind-the-scenes photos.

Muschietti posted the new images on his official Instagram account. The first post shows the director on the set along with a brief yet exciting caption. The second one pays tribute to the cast and crew of The Flash. Check it out below.

There's a good reason why Muschietti is feeling good about the wrap. After all, the project was in production hell for several years as it got passed down to different directors before eventually being handed to the IT filmmaker. It has been a truly long journey but fans can now rest assured that The Flash has been completed and is almost ready for its theatrical release.

Muschietti's news comes shortly after the first teaser for The Flash was dropped at DC FanDome. In the teaser, it was confirmed that there will be two Barry Allens played by Ezra Miller. In addition to that, we got our first fleeting glimpse at Michael Keaton's Batman and Sasha Calle's Supergirl.

The Flash also stars Kiersey Clemons, Maribel Verdú, and Ron Livingston, who will take over the role of Henry Allen after Billy Crudup's departure. The film will also feature Ben Affleck as the DCEU's version of Bruce Wayne.

The Flash is currently scheduled for theatrical release on November 4, 2022.
