We've already seen the new Gideon and the new Liliana cards; now it's time for Nissa's Amonkhet spotlight.
Professional Magic: The Gathering player Luis Scott-Vargas just revealed a new Planeswalker card for Amonkhet: Nissa, Steward of Elements.
This is the first Planeswalker card with X in its mana cost, and also the first Nissa card with a mix of blue. Check it out:
Nissa is easy to ultimate thanks to its +2 Scry ability and her X cost. Sure, her ultimate isn't as crazy-powerful as Nicol Bolas or Ugin but being able to swing for 10 could win you games. If you can hit a creature with its second ability, you can protect her with that creature but of course, this card demands a lot of creatures so it will be more likely used in a creature-heavy midrange deck than a control one.

Amonkhet, the first set of the Amonkhet block, will be released on April 28. Prerelease events will take place on April 22-23, 2017.
