Amazon Reveals Content For Marvel Legacy Hardcover

Marvel Legacy #1 comes out later this month, bringing back classic elements, old numbering and a number of fan favorite characters. While this will likely be a must-buy for comic book fans, more casual readers might want something bigger and more durable. Thankfully, Marvel is quite aware of this, as Amazon has solicited a graphic novel version of the one-shot, slated for a February 2018 release.

It's similar to the hardcover release of DC Universe: Rebirth, though it is much more expensive. While the Rebirth hardcover wasn't exactly cheap, coming in at $17.99 for 60 pages of story and some extras, the Marvel Legacy hardcover is $39.99 which is much more expensive. Since the one-shot is $5.99, fans are probably wondering why they would want to spend an additional $33.99.

Aside from some possible extras and a collection of the one-shot's variant covers, Amazon has listed the Marvel Premiere Pages that will be accompanying a number of the comics coming out for the Legacy rebranding. These pages will recap the history of a number of books, including Avengers, Spider-Man, X-Men and so much more. The Marvel Premiere recaps are three pages per book, so it will be interesting to see if they are enough to fill up a graphic novel.

Are you more excited for Marvel Legacy as a one-shot or a graphic novel? If it really does usher in a new era for Marvel, it should be a worthwhile pick up either way.
