7 Minutes of New Gameplay Footage From Super Mario Odyssey

Super Mario Odyssey's expansive "sandbox" world offers diverse types of kingdoms for Mario to explore. Today's Nintendo Direct released 7 minutes of new gameplay footage that offer a look at the various kingdoms we'll see in the game, and it's fascinating to see the amount of things we can do in those places, some of which are inspired by real-life cities like New York and Mexico City.

Mario will travel using his cap-shaped ship, The Odyssey, and players would need to acquire power moons scattered across the globe to power his stylish airship. There are stores called Crazy Cap around the world where Mario can purchase outfits and other items he can use in his adventures.

The video also shares a look at the game's snapshot mode, which lets players take a screeshot of Mario that they can share on social media. I also love the original music in this game. The amount of things you can do in this game is incredible, and I'm sure, this will motivate a lot of gamers to buy a Nintendo Switch.
