302 MTG Players of The Grand Prix London Pauper Event Just Gave A Round of Applause To The Professor

The biggest Pauper Magic: The Gathering event just happened in Grand Prix London last weekend, and The Professor of Tolarian Community College YouTube channel received a round of applause for helping make it happen. As Channelfireball Events noted, 302 players joined to play Pauper, a Magic format where only cards with common rarity are legal, and there's a ban list for it.

After all, it was the feedback of the players championed by The Professor that made Channelfireball Events add Pauper events to their January 2018 Grand Prix (GP Santa Clara, GP Indianapolis, GP Houston, and GP London). And of course, CFB paid for him to attend the Grand Prix events due to his campaign for Pauper. He suggested Pauper back in December, and it looks like a lot of players were excited to join the fun.

On Reddit, The Professor posted a response to the players who helped promote the Pauper event.
