Last week, EA and DICE announced that the open beta for Star Wars Battlefront will be coming out on PS4, XBOX One, and PC on October 8. Meanwhile, the guys from Eurogamer got their hands on some cool gameplay footage that shows the new Drop Zone mode in Sullust, a rocky planet that was mentioned in Return of the Jedi but never shown in films, so this is the first time we visually discover this world.
Like the previous Battlefront games, the gameplay here looks simple enough for any casual gamer to pick up, but as expected, the graphics here look better and the sound more crisp. Are you excited to play the Drop Zone game mode?
