Mushoku Tensei Is Getting Delayed as a New Arc Begins
Mushoku Tensei season 2 returned with part 2 this season, continuing the trend of the show’s seasons being split into two halves.
With the second season now entering its final couple of episodes, the series released a new trailer and visual.
Based on the trailer, this new arc promises to feature lots of action as Rudeus Greyrat reunites with Paul and Roxy.
Joined by Geese, Elinalise, and Talhand, the group will enter the Teleportation Labyrinth to rescue Zenith.
The new arc’s visual also shows the arc’s main party in battle-ready poses.
While the arc is an exciting one, fans will need to wait a bit longer as the next episode has been delayed.
The delay announcement did not mention a specific reason for the delay, though it’s likely done to give the staff more time to work on the next arc’s episodes.
Because of the delay, a special program will instead air in the anime’s usual timeslot featuring the show’s voice cast.

Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Episode 19 Gets New Release Date Following Delay Announcement
Episode 19 was originally set to air in Japan on May 19. The upcoming special broadcast is now confirmed to take up the show’s timeslot on Japanese TV.
This program will feature a selection of VAs from the series as they look back on the events of the Newlyweds arc. Thus, it’s likely we’ll see Rudeus and Sylphy's VAs in the program.
Special broadcasts like these are typically not released internationally, meaning this likely won’t be streamed on Crunchyroll.
As for the next episode, Mushoku Tensei season 2 episode 19 is now scheduled to be released on May 26, 2024.
