Kylo Ren and The Knights of Ren Prominently Featured in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Promo Art

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is finally going to debut The Knights of Ren, who were teased back in The Force Awakens but never appeared in The Last Jedi. We know that these Knights are going to have their own names and characteristics, though they probably won't get a lot of characterization since this is the last movie. Thanks to ComicBookMovie, we now have a good look at these characters via some promo art.

As the website states, these designs will probably be seen in various Star Wars merchandise, from shirts to mugs, maybe even a backpack or two. There's no denying that these characters look cool and will probably take part in a number of fight scenes. We don't expect any of them to live of course unless they change sides and become Jedi but that's not going to happen.

It will be awesome seeing them in action for the first time, though Marvel is planning to release a comic book tie-in that goes more in-depth with Kylo Ren's training and how he knows them. We don't know how Kylo feels about these Knights but given their name, we have to assume that they are under his control. Unless Ren has another form or meaning in this series.

Then again, Palpatine is going to be here so there's a chance that they will serve under him. The possibilities are endless when it comes to the world of Star Wars, which is why so many people love/hate the franchise.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker comes out on December 20.
