Francesca Bridgerton is the sixth Bridgerton sibling and the third sister to come out to society in the Netflix series.
For fans who initially thought Daphne would appear in the piano room, it is Francesca playing the pianoforte on her own before her mother introduces her to Queen Charlotte.
And if you're wondering why she looks different from the previous seasons, you're right.
She was previously played by Ruby Stokes, who left Bridgerton to pursue her starring role in Lockwood & Co.
The Francesca we see in season 3 is now played by Hannah Dodd, who is best known as Sandra in the MCU's Eternals film and Sarah Chapman in Netflix's Enola Holmes 2.
Season 3 interestingly kept their cards hidden with this Bridgerton, considering that she doesn't seem quite sure what she wants when it comes to finding her 'dream husband' or anything outside of music.
This led fans to wonder, whether Francesca is asexual or merely an introvert fumbling in the corner of the room.

So, Is Francesca Bridgerton Asexual? Well...
Sexuality is not often disclosed among the Bridgerton siblings and in three seasons, none have identified as being outside heterosexual. Francesca Bridgerton is no exception.
"She is trying to find a husband," Dodd explained, "I think the difference is that she's not excited about it. She just knows it's her time and this is part of life, and here we go."
While Francesca had seemingly no interest in finding a prospect on the marriage mart, one night outside the ball, she meets her future husband, John Stirling, Earl of Kilmartin (Victor Alli) in episode 3 titled Forces of Nature.
The quiet moment they shared left an impression on both ends and led John to start courting Francesca, even when they had yet to share more than a breath.
It is worth mentioning that asexuality does not necessarily mean they wouldn't be interested in romance or sexual intercourse.
Keep in mind that sexuality is not a choice, and in this case, Francesca's attraction shows she's merely interested in someone who shares familiar taste in music and ambiance.
In Julia Quinn's book, When He Was Wicked, Francesca ends up marrying John, he dies ever so suddenly and falls in love with his cousin, Michael.
