Ahsoka Tano Star Wars Series Will Reportedly Feature Captain Rex and Sabine Wren

We've seen a few images from The Mandalorian Season 2 and though they look cool, none of them confirm if Ahsoka Tano will be appearing in the series. There's a big rumor that Rosario Dawson will be playing the character and will then star in her own Disney+ spinoff. Now, there are reports that Dawson's Ahsoka show will have more Star Wars Rebels and The Clone Wars fanservice, with Captain Rex and Sabine Wren reportedly coming to that show.

Rumors are already ramping up about Sabine appearing in The Mandalorian Season 2 since she is also a Mandalorian but Kessel Run Transmissions claims she and Captain Rex will be appearing in the Ahsoka show, in addition to The Mandalorian. That sounds like a lot of great fanservice and since Sabine and Rex did live through Rebels, we wouldn't be too surprised if they did actually appear.

Everyone is still waiting for more details about The Mandalorian Season 2 and if the rumored Ahsoka Tano will really get her own show. Fans are still fairly nostalgic over The Clone Wars, as the last season and the upcoming Bad Batch series coming soon shows so we wouldn't blame Disney if they want to take advantage of that. Let's just hope it's a strong show that can stand on its own legs.

As of this writing, the Ahsoka Tano spinoff series has yet to be announced. The Mandalorian Season 2 will be debuting next month, on October 30.
