Will Tanjiro Become a Hashira?
As the title implies, the Demon Slayer Hashira Training arc will be all about Tanjiro as he undergoes training alongside the other demon slayers as they prepare for Muzan Kibutsuji’s inevitable attack.
Without going deep into spoiler territory, the new arc will see the Hashira join the training under Kagaya’s orders.
As Tanjiro will also train alongside the Hashira, some fans are wondering if this means Tanjiro will become part of the highest-ranked demon slayers.
Given his abilities, coupled with the fact that there are already two Hashira who are out of commission, there’s a chance that Tanjiro will move up to the upper ranks. We’ll have to wait and see if this is the case though.

How Did Nezuko Survive Being Exposed to Sunlight?
Nezuko Kamado miraculously survived the Swordsmith Village arc’s climactic fight, surprising even Muzan. Thus, Nezuko is set up to become the key to Muzan’s plan of conquering the world.
All demons will die when exposed to sunlight, so Nezuko surviving is a major plot development. It’s not clear if the reason will be given in the new season, but it’s no doubt one of the biggest mysteries in the anime so far.
What Happened to Zenitsu and Inosuke During Demon Slayer Season 3?
While Zenitsu and Inosuke appeared in the earlier episodes of season 3, Tanjiro’s two companions did not join him in the Swordsmith Village. Instead, it was Genya who helped Tanjiro and Nezuko when the Upper Rank demons attacked.
From the looks of it, Tanjiro and Nezuko will once again be the center of attention in this new season, though many fans are hoping to find out what happened to Zenitsu and Inosuke during season 3.
It probably won’t be a major part of the story, but it would be nice for the anime to dedicate at least some sequences to this funny duo.

Just How Powerful Is the Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima?
Based on the upcoming season’s visuals and trailer, the Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima will be a major character in this new arc.
All of the Hashira shown so far are incredibly powerful combatants, so it will be interesting to see how strong Gyomei is.
What makes his power even more interesting is that Tanjro and Inosuke commented that Gyomei is the strongest fighter in the demon slayer corps. Hopefully he gets to show his true power in the new season.
What Is Muzan’s Plan for Nezuko and Tanjiro?
At the end of season 3, Muzan Kibutsuji was shown reacting to the discovery of Nezuko being resistant to sunlight.
Because of this, Muzan’s plan is likely now centered around Nezuko. Given that he can consume demons, his goal likely is to consume Nezuko so that he can acquire her power, making him nearly invincible.
As for the specifics of how he’ll get Nezuko, this is another question that Demon Slayer season 4 will hopefully answer, especially as it will lead to the series’ climactic arc.

The Biggest Question: How Many Episodes Will Demon Slayer Season 4 Have?
Perhaps the most interesting question of all is how many episodes Demon Slayer Hashira Training arc will have.
As one of the shortest arcs in the manga, there may not be enough material for a proper season that’s 11 episodes long.
Thus, fans are interested in how long the anime will be. If it’s a faithful adaptation, it might just be a short series. On the flip side, the anime might expand the arc with original scenes.
Whatever the case may be, what we know for certain is that Demon Slayer season 4 will premiere today on Crunchyroll.
