Alice in Borderland Lead Arisu's Chances In Winning Squid Game
A Reddit thread discussed the chances of Arisu (Kento Yamazaki) winning Squid Game. Most aren't sure because the Korean survival TV series is a mix of strategy and luck.
One netizen is sure that Arisu will survive the first game, Red Light, Green Light, and the second game, honeycomb shape cutting because he is brilliant.
However, in the third game, tug of war, he has a 50/50 chance of winning depending on his group. However, the netizen thinks he would probably lose in the marble game because he is empathetic and unlikely to sacrifice the others. Unless he is paired with someone, he doesn't like.
In fact, in Alice in Borderland, when he and his friends were forced to play the Wolf game (Seven of Hearts), Arisu hid when he became the wolf to win the game. But he had a change of heart and decided to save his friends Chota and Daikichi instead. However, the two decided not to show themselves and let Arisu win and live.
Also, in the fifth game, the glass bridge, Arisu will have a 50-50 chance of survival unless he is familiar with glasses. But even the older man, an expert in glasses, died because he was having difficulty differentiating them. It took him so long that Sang-woo (Park Hae Soo) pushed him to his death for fear that they might run out of time.
In the last game, Squid Game, the netizens aren't sure if he will win it. It still depends on who his opponent will be. Squid Game is more about physical strength and agility, which are not Arisu's strong points.
