Warner Brothers Reportedly Replacing Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen With Wally West

DC fans might have been eager to see Ezra Miller's version of Bally Allen return in The Flash, but the DC Extended Universe just recently dipped into major controversy after choking out a fan in Iceland, and now there are rumors that Warner Brothers plans to replace the actor as soon as they can.

According to a report by We Got This Covered, sources close to Warner Brothers say that the studio is hoping to have Wally West replace Barry Allen as the DCEU's main Flash after hearing about Miller's choking controversy.

Earlier this year, rumors started spreading saying that Warner Brothers was planning to introduce Wally West in a cameo in The Flash. Now that there's backlash against Miller, the studio is planning to go all out by having Wally West take Barry Allen's place as The Flash.

This shouldn't come as a surprise to readers. There's been a lot of outrage against Miller ever the actor's choking video made its way online. In fact, some fans have begun petitioning for Warner Brothers to fire the actor from the DCEU.

While we can't be entirely sure whether or not Miller will really lose his job over the recent controversy, we can't help but feel upset for the actor . There's been a whole lot of excitement over The Flash movie. The DC Extended Universe might have had a rocky start with Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League, but fans enjoyed Miller's version of Barry Allen and everyone was excited to see the actor return in The Flash.

The Flash is currently set for release on July 1, 2022.
