The first hour of Netflix's TUDUM: A Netflix Global Fan Event started off with a major bang as it finally gave us our first taste at the upcoming fourth season of arguably the streaming giant's flagship program Stranger Things. Season 4 promises to be the most terrifying installment yet as it welcomes fans to the Creel House.

Netflix dropped the official first look at the upcoming season which is set to premiere sometime in 2022. The highly anticipated clip begins with a family that enters what seems to be their new abode — an unsuspecting house that might be home to "strange" occurrences as the video suggests. Turns out, it's a flashback sequence from the 1950s and we later see the Stranger Things kids appear in the clip breaking into the spooky mansion and doing their usual detective shenanigans. It all ends with an intriguing clock.

The clip doesn't exactly give away much but if you've been following the latest updates regarding the series' upcoming season, the show will introduce fans to Victor Creel, a "disturbed and intimidating man who is imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a gruesome murder in the 1950s" played by horror icon Robert Englund. Sure, we don't see him in the clip but it's already safe to assume that Victor Creel will be one of the characters fans of Stranger Things should be on the lookout for.

No official release date has been announced for Stranger Things Season 4.
